Hi Project Michelle LA,

I'm sorry it took so long to get this out. For some reason, I still feel at a loss for words. Many of you already know, but for those we have lost touch with, our sweet Michelle has left us. She lost her battle with leukemia and passed away early Saturday, July 25. Processing this reality has been incredibly difficult for me, but I try to take comfort in the fact that she is no longer suffering, that she no longer has to fight. We had a beautiful service for her on August 1 that celebrated her life and had more laughter than tears, and I think that has helped all of us.
 
One of the things I have taken from this is that we can honor her memory and keep her in our hearts by continuing the fight for her, for others.
 
One of our most successful drives in Southern California was last year at Kollaboration Acoustic 2. Acoustic 3 is coming up this Saturday, and we could really use as many volunteers as we can to help match last year's success. Please let me know ASAP if you can help:
