layout of elements on Web page

Hello Mesanites, is there any documentation to guide a Mesa user in rearranging the layout of elements on a model's visualization Web page? I'm digging around in ModularVisualization.py and modular_template.html, but before I start performing surgery I thought I'd ask if there's some other better way to do this than carving up HTML/CSS code, or maybe just a "how to" of best practices somewhere.
