RESPONSE PLAN FOR HAITI EARTHQUAKE RECOVERY
MISSION GOAL: Facilitate effective disaster response to children by:
· Engaging local and arriving responders in deployment of psychosocial support for vulnerable children in key locations
· Facilitating exchange of field expertise, knowledge, and technical consulting among all groups needing flexible and workable solutions for meeting the emergency needs of children for safe and developmentally appropriate care
· Providing informed situational analysis and reports on children’s needs
· Partnering with governmental and nongovernmental networks to support child protection and psychosocial resilience and all-around response/recovery efforts
