At our meeting last Friday, Nicole Goaley told us about proposed
amendments on the NE Code of Judicial Conduct. Comments are accepted
until October 1, 2010. See below for a brief summary; the changes are
in the attached PDF.
NOTICE OF COMMENT PERIOD
On February 16, 2010, the Nebraska Supreme Court Commission on Children
in the Courts submitted to the Supreme Court proposed amendments to the
Nebraska Code of Judicial
Conduct at subsection (C) of Appendix B regarding Case Progression
Standards in juvenile courts. The Court invites interested persons to
comment on these proposed amendments.
Anyone desiring to comment on the amendments should do so in writing to
the office of the Clerk of the Supreme Court and Court of Appeals, P.O.
Box 98910, Lincoln, NE 68509-8910, or via e-mail to
lanet.a...@nebraska.gov no later than October 1, 2010.
