Dear Friends and Colleagues;

Homelessness and housing instability impacts hundreds of youth and young adults in the Omaha & Council Bluffs metro areas.  As of today, our community does not have a focused strategy to address the housing needs of young people who face homelessness or near homelessness.  The Metro Area Continuum of Care for the Homeless (MACCH) Youth Task Force is initiating a data collection project to help us to understand the landscape of this issue.  Ultimately, we will use this data to create a concrete strategy which will be integrated with other youth-focused collaboration efforts currently taking place in our community.

Below is a link to a survey which will gather your perspective on the state of youth homelessness and our service delivery system.  It will take approximately 20 minutes to complete.  Please take a few moments to complete the survey; it will provide invaluable data to us as we take the next step in ending youth homelessness in our community.

Here is the Survey Monkey link to the Environmental Scan:  https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/JJK5BDT.  If the link doesn't work, you may need to paste it into your browser.

Please complete the survey and forward it on to your colleagues.  Input from a wide array of respondents is vital to the success of this effort.  The survey will remain open until Tuesday, May 21.

Thank you for your time, energy, and attention to solving youth homelessness.
