It’s almost summer again and the Foster Care Review Board is preparing for its summer workshops. There will be workshops in six sites across Nebraska. Our theme is FOCUS on the CHILDREN. We will be looking at legal, child welfare, child development, permanency, and medical needs of children. Our speakers are known for their expertise and are dynamic and entertaining. We look forward to having you share the day with us.
MCLEs and CEUs will be available again this year. We expect that the credit hours will be 6.75 the same as last year.
A lot of great ideas were generated from last year’s workshop evaluations and we have several great presentations lined up that we hope will meet the needs of our partners in the communities that serve youth and families. We are also interested in hearing other ideas for our trainings. If you have ideas for this summer’s workshops please let me know as soon as possible.
We are hoping for a great turn out again this year so please pass the date along to others in your area that you think would interested in attending.
