Unable to access Full toobar of Chrono , only on right toolbox

Hello,

I am having trouble getting the Chrono add-in to work with SolidWorks 2025 Student Edition. I am using the Chrono_SolidWorks_v9.0.exe installer.

The add-in appears in my Add-Ins menu, but the toolbar tab never appears. When I start SolidWorks, the "Active" checkbox for the add-in becomes unchecked on its own, which suggests it is failing to load.

I have already tried the following troubleshooting steps without success:

• Ensuring both "Active" and "Start Up" are checked.

• Performing a clean re-installation by uninstalling first and then running the installer as an administrator.

• Confirming that the ChronoEngineAddIn.dll file exists in the installation folder.

• Repairing the latest Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable (x64) and restarting my PC.

Could you please provide any assistance? Thank you.

Hello,

Are you missing any particular feature you are expecting? To the extent I have used Chrono:Solidworks, there is only a right side toolbar(someone from our lab might correct me), and I am fairly certain only official solidworks plugins are allowed to show up on top toolbar or also known as tabs. This is all i would expect from a working installation.

Oh yes, sorry, I didn't see that the toolbar is actually available on the right.

I thought it was missing since it's quite clear from all the docs that the toolbar is indeed on the right.
