Cmake error when building chrono_gpu using RTX 5090

Recently, I tried to build chrono gpu module with RTX 5090 and met some cmake error. The system is Ubuntu 20.04.6 LTS , the cuda version is 12.8 and chrono version is release8.0. The error message is as follows：

Does anyone know how to solve the problem ? Thank you all.

Well, we released Chrono v. 8.0 in 2023, while CUDA 12.8 was released in 2025.

So, either use a version of CUDA released sometime before June 2023, or else start using the latest version of Chrono in the `main` branch of the git repository. I strongly encourage you to do the latter.
