Hello,

I've been using Chrono Gpu on an HPC. The HPC updated their CUDA version to 12.9 and removed old versions. When I try building chrono now, it automatically disables the gpu module. I presume this is because my cuda version is not adequate.

I just want to confirm that this is in fact the case and I'm not doing something else wrong.

Thanks,
Isabella

Hi Isabella,

Please make sure you use the latest code from the ‘main’ branch of the Chrono git repository.

That code was tested and works fine with CUDA 12.8, 12.9, and 13.1.

If you still encounter problems, please post here the full output from the cmake configuration.

Note also that I recently renamed the Chrono::GPU module to Chrono::DEM.
