I'm investigating using Chrono as a medium for generating terrains with randomized Bekker-Wong parameters as a way to get data on different terrain interactions for a given vehicle. However, I'm struggling to find good sources of information with approximate terramechanics parameters/measurements for decent quantities of varied terrains. I want to be sure the sets of parameters I generate have a basis in reality and that they could be encountered in the field, but it would be helpful to have a set of data from which to extrapolate parameter relationships and generate a manifold. I've been piecing together examples from individual papers, but most only focus or mention one or two soil or ground types.Does anyone have any recommended/known datasets for Bekker-Wong/Janosi parameter measurements? Or bounds on what each parameter could conceivably be?

Hi Viet Le,
Thank you very much for providing these data tables. I’m sure they will be very useful to anyone working with the SCM terrain model.
I was wondering if you’d be ok with us making this information available on the Chrono documentation pages (here), of course attributing this to you.
Best,
Radu

Dear Joshua Philip Martin
Below are some suggestions and resources that might help you construct a robust dataset for your simulations:
