Hi,

I am keep getting the following error, while trying to run `./buildVSG.sh` shellscript to get VSG built and installed:

```
CMake Error at build_vsgExamples/examples/animation/vsganimation/cmake_install.cmake:71 (file):
  file INSTALL cannot find
  "/home/loki/chrono/contrib/build-scripts/linux/build_vsgExamples/bin/Release/vsganimation":
  No such file or directory.
Call Stack (most recent call first):
  build_vsgExamples/examples/animation/cmake_install.cmake:47 (include)
  build_vsgExamples/cmake_install.cmake:51 (include)
```

Can anyone help me figure out how to resolve this issue? Thank you.

It's difficult, if not impossible, to help with build issues if you do not provide relevant information:
  • Chrono version (or code branch)
  • Operating system
  • Compiler and compiler version
  • Etc.
We are aware of a problem with building one of the VSG dependency libraries (assimp) with GCC 13.
(By the way, please examine carefully the entire log from running buildVSG.sh and report the first errors - I suspect the one you mentioned is just the end result).

If you are using GCC 13, the shirt term solution is to use an older version of the compiler (e.g., 11). We are in the process of updating to newer versions of VSG libraries and those build fine with GCC 13.

Hi,

Sorry about not providing details. I was too stressed out about this. I am currently using GCC 11.4

In addition, my OS is Pop OS 22.04. I am trying to build the `main` branch.

If you need anything more, I am willing to provide.

Thank you.

Sincerely,
Lokit Khemka.
