Dear (Py)Chrono developers and users,

Today I just found about this promising framework for the first time (that seems to be ideal for a quick task I'm about to start), and after installing the PyChrono from Anaconda, I couldn't get to any documentation or tutorial referenced from https://projectchrono.org/pychrono/

All of the links (i.e. http://api.projectchrono.org/development/tutorial_table_of_content_pychrono.html) point to the default  "404 not found" page served by nginx..

Maybe this is only a temporal glitch and someone is already working on it, but in case it has gone unnoticed so far, maybe this is the best place to let the ProjectChrono team know about (.. or possibly this valuable information was relocated without updating the links accordingly).

Or.., it would be very nice if someone has  this information served somewhere else (i've googled around without any result).. it doesn't need to be up to date, I only need to get started.

Thank you very much!

-Ruben

After digging in the github repository a little bit, I found the doxygen's source markup files, which I believe are enough to get me started for now.

For the record, I was able to find the last time these pages were crawled by google in its webcache. For example:

from Dec 18, 2019 12:41:41

Hopefully this issue in the webpage doesn't stop other (not as persistent) users from learning PyChrono.

Cheers!

- Ruben

Ruben,

This was a temporary space issue on our webserver.  The documentation is back up.

Thank you Radu,

The original links from the main PyChrono page (like this one) are still not working (at least to me).

Anyway, the most up to date docs can be found at http://api.projectchrono.org/4.0.0/pychrono_introduction.html.

Regards.

Hi Ruben, there were actually two issues with generating the documentation. I believe they have both been fixed as of 9PM UTC. You should be able to use the website link you shared in addition to the latest documentation at api.projectchrono.org.
