Hi,

I know there was a recent issue about Thrust versioning in cmake the other day, but I have the latest chrono files after the regex fix. My issue involves an error during the make portion when attempting to build the demo executables. I have linked an output.txt file with my make output. It seems as though the issue lies in undefined references from fsi to thrust? I am not sure what the best solution would be to resolve this. Maybe a CUDA reinstall? I haven't edited any files, and am just trying to get the FSI module to build. I'm open to any help or suggestions, thanks!

Best,
Mason

Hello Mason,

Can you please also attach your CMakeCache.txt file? You will find it in your build folder. Also please attach the CMakeOutput.log file which you will find in build_folder/CMakeFiles

No need to do that.  I was just looking into this issue this morning and it turns out that the current versions of the GPU-based modules in Chrono do *NOT* work with CUDA 12.4.

I will update the installation documentation to explicitly mention this.

We will look into what changes are required in Chrono to enable support for the latest CUDA, but that may not happen in the very near future.

In the meantime, you will need to downgrade your CUDA install to 12.3.
