Vanessa,

This doesn’t seem to be a problem related to that particular Chrono demo. In fact, likely not a Chrono issue at all.

You are probably not looking in the right folder.  Chrono demos will be created in a subdirectory bin/ of your build tree (which you specified during CMake configuration). For multi-config generators such as VS, you will have further subdirectories (Release/, Debug/, etc, depending on the build configuration you selected).

If nothing else, look at that *.exe.recipe file (it’s a text file) and the full path to the actual executable will be listed there.

Subject: [chrono] Blender / Chrono Inquiry

Hello,

I added the Chrono add-on for Blender following these instructions. However, for the "run demo_POST_blender1.exe" step, I only have a "demo_POST_blender1.exe.recipe" file in my folder. I found a similar issue reported here (for VS Code, not Chrono necessarily) but no solution. I have the most recent version of Microsoft VS Code installed. Any tips on how to get around this to run the .exe file? Or if anyone else has run into this issue, pointers would be appreciated. Thank you.
