Add Node-To-Node Collision in cables simulation

Hi! Is there a way to include inside the simulation the node-to- node collision? Because i have a number of cables and, when they collide, they just pass through each other. I have enough nodes to not leave any empty space between the cable element (the one between two nodes), and this is the only thing left to complete the simulation.
