Project Chrono Wiki

Hi Everyone, I noticed that the wiki page for Project Chrono on Github doesn't have anything in it.  I'm wondering if there's any interest in the community for a wiki.  I know I would gain a lot from having some community written documentation on how to do things.  

I'd be interested in starting the Wiki, but I'd rather see if others would find value in it first.

Hello Andy,

I like your initiative, I think a wiki could be helpful in capturing some of the knowledge that floats around in other places (that hasn't made it into the official documentation / website).

There are many different parts of Chrono, used by a very diverse (as far as I can see) group of people. Personally, I'm mostly using the Chrono::Vehicle parts. I would not mind helping out with those. Most other parts I'm not that familiar with, but maybe others in the community are.

I think a lot of people will get value out of this.

 

As a side note, we started training LLMs to help generate PyChrono models. Early results are reported here: https://arxiv.org/abs/2408.11987. We’ll have better LLMs in a matter of one to two months. We’ll see how we can deploy them so that people can get a jump start when putting together PyChrono models.
