Hi,

I'm interested in simulating a radar sensor and accessing it's buffer to uniquely identify objects, it's range and range rate. I looked into demo_SEN_radar application. The sensor seem to be returning a point cloud on where it get the hit. But the objectID is not uniquely identifying objects in the scene.

For example: there's one cube object in front of radar and there are 100 points from radar hitting that cube, so there are 100 different object IDs instead of 1. Also looked into Num_clusters variable. It's shown as 0.

I've just added one filter in the first (ChfilterRadarAccess) along with ChFilterRadarProcess and ChFilterRadarVisualizeCluster available in demo_SEN_radar1 application.

And used GetMostRecentBuffer<UserRadarBufferPtr> to access the buffer values, object iD and number of clusters.

Please help with how can I add filter and read buffers so that I can uniquely identify objects in the scene.

Murugan – unfortunately, the radar implementation is work in progress. It was started, but never finished properly. We hope to wrap it up this summer.
