Hi Chrono Users,
We want to share with you information about an event that is organized by the US side of Project Chrono (the European side has a summer school, an announcement will probably follow shortly).
This is the 10th edition of the Machine-Ground Interaction Consortium (MaGIC) meeting, which will take place September 20-21, 2022 (Tu-Wd). The event is virtual and the registration is free. For this anniversary edition we hope to build on the success of the 2021 event, which brought together almost 250 registrants for more than 90 organizations.
We believe the MaGIC meeting will be of interest to folks who wish to learn more about emerging trends in machine-ground interaction aspects, touching, for instance, on off-road mobility of AVs & robots, multi-scale aspects in terramechanics, machine learning for off-road autonomy, trafficability, vehicle-terrain interaction, sensor simulation, HPC, virtual worlds for off-road simulation, model calibration, human-automation interaction, human-in-the-loop simulation, etc. Some of the talks will be related to Chrono.

Finally, if you can think of a colleague who might be interested in attending MaGIC 2022, will you please share this email with him/her (and let us know, too, to add him/her to the distribution list).
Looking forward to e-hosting you this September,
Dan Negrut & Radu Serban
