Greetings!

I am writing this mail on behalf of
Prof. D K Subramanian, Founder President, Foundation for Advancement in
Education and Research (FAER).

FAER, a trust started by Prof D. K.
Subramanian, has a rich track record of bringing the industry
practitioners and academicians together, in various workshops, training
sessions and seminars and selecting eligible and deserving students for
scholarships under various schemes.

FAER has been handling the task of
selecting Motorola Scholars for the last six years. The program is
focused towards areas of a) Computer Science and IT b) Communication c)
Energy Systems d) resources management e) Environment and Ecology f)
Rural Technologies g) Health care Technologies h) Labour saving
technologies for Women and i) Applications, where final year student
projects are selected for their innovative approach to harness
technology in providing meaningful solutions. Apart from the
recognition, the winning teams get cash prizes of Rs. 75 thousand for
the first prize and so on.

This year also, FAER has announced the
Motorola Scholar Awards program and is inviting project proposals from
final year students for recognized colleges and institutions.

Kindly
inform your students and encourage them to participate in this
prestigious activity. This will enhance the image of students and your
institution also. The rules / poster / format for proposal are put up in

available in our web site. Kindly provide wide publicity and encourage
your students to participate in this program, please.

Students
submitting good proposals have a chance to get a small financial grant
to execute them. The projects will become benchmarks of quality.
