Kwayne,

You were a little vague about my questions on this before, so I just
wanted clarify things.

1. Are you making the Spathi "Safe Ones" council?
2. That's a "No" on making the Supox?
3. That's a "No" on the Druuge?
4. Were you going to finish the Mycon?
5. Were you going to finish the Utwig?

If you are making any of these, can I get an estimated time when
they're going to get done?

If you're not doing them, that's fine. I'll do them. But, if you
wouldn't mind, I'd like any of the files you've already done then
(like the Mycon PSD)...

I have no Druuge nor Supox screens, and they're not on my list of priorities.
Safe Ones: if they're in P6014, I'll make them, if not, same as Druuge and Supox

I'll take a look at the Mycon, Utwig and Thraddash screens. I can't say much about time estimates.

Just note, I need input about how the 4x Utwig works before I go on making a 2x version. I'm doubtful about the 011-012 frames fitting into the animation.

As far as extra frames, we can work with it.

Actually I was unable for a few days because my gpu was about to melt due to a malfunctioning fan.

Thanks for the video. It seems I messed up the smoke animation so it looks like 4 frames stretched into 5 frames. I'll fix it soon, and send you the basic frames for the Mycon. The new frames are supposed to be blue flame (probably a product of Mycon metabolism converting lava heat and heavy elements into useful energy -- or something) and the smoke coming from the volcanoes on the left and right. Not that I'm a great fan of innovations, it's just hard to imagine a static smoke.

These look great Kwayne.

Animations look perfect in the game, just like the originals. My
personal favorite is the Mycon stuff.

And don't worry about installing the game. I just put you on there if
you wanted to commit. You don't have to commit anything if you don't
want to.

The Utwig might still be problematic. I think one of the frames appear only when you piss them off, and I might have been unable to make it compatible with the "blinking eye" frames.

it sorted already ?

Btw, I shall try to update, compile and run the old HD lady on Linux
tonight. If you don't hear from me after that, it probably means she got
the best of me. That, or real life kicked in with all fours as usual.

It seems that the code doesn't need to change. If there is a problem I guess I can solve it graphically, but I won't know until I get some more insight with setting up an UQM-HD work directory.

Basically it's the same as setting up a P6014 directory, except that you use :
https://uqm-hd.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/

You're already in the list of allowed committers.
If you'd like to compile it yourself, I'll guide you through it.

Be aware that this is nowhere as polished and functional as P6014 is, it's been our sandbox for toying with layouts and HD stuff before we integrated them into P6014 and we've never cleaned it after the release of demo 0.2.1.
The provided Windows executable is probably out-of-date or broken too. I've been able to compile and run the latest revision out of the box on Linux but I haven't booted Windows for a while, so it'll be a few days more before I commit an up-to-date exe.
