Stepping back

Hi folks,

Today I've ticked off "Receive e-mails" in my subscription page to this
google group. My mailbox is still open to you of course, but I tought
I'd let you know that I can't be reached through the list anymore.

I guess I won't be missed much, considering that I haven't contributed
at all in a year (my last useful commit was when my daughter was born
and we've celebrated her birthday last month) and that the proportion of
people I know in this list is getting smaller on a weekly basis.
I have to say that, like Kwayne, I'm not too fond of the recent changes
in the direction (polysemy intended, I mean both leadership and bearing)
of this project. A lot of unproductive noise and at the same time
secrecy about the actual content and team management, I'm quite
pessimistic about where this is headed. And since I'm in no position to
even lend a hand, I guess I'm better off taking a break.

I sincerely hope you prove me wrong, at least I'd have a brand new Star
Control game to play in a year or so.

Kind regards to the ones who were involved in producing the demos, I'll
always remember the moments we've shared.
