FoonFoon are butterflies with goat heads. Their ships (the Unifier) have a
simple shooter as a primary weapon BUT with a high batter charge can split
into two; the effect would be cumulative, with the Unifiers capable of
forming on-screen fleets of shooters, but they would still share a health
bar and damage to any member of the fleet would be damage as a whole.

I've always imagined them resembling something along the lines of a
cuttlefish or squid, perhaps with a voice similar to the Orz or Arilou.
Maybe something robotic?
