Perhaps the Orz were in kahootz with the Exotics; and were here as 'inside
agents' (of it's own will) to relay events to the Exotics. But when the
Exotics go on a rampage, the Orz cut ties and come clean. (as best they
can; Orz is Orz...)

You could do an Orz as a world tree kind of thing. But yeah, there is
enough ambiguity with the orz to do all kinds of stuff with them.
