Are we just going to write a report using the outline that dawn gave?
Are we going to assign parts? Are we going to chat again?

I present on Sunday at our state "EL" meeting. It is the day before
our state conference on Monday. I will be sharing with them about
getting involved with ALA through the EL program. I am doing a
PowerPoint to give them a bit more info. than I had going into it a
year ago. I am also planning to talk with them, at the end of the
presentation, to find out what they are currently members of, if they
are ALA and/or AASL members, etc. I met with the professor from the
University of South AL. None of her student responses were surprising.
Some of them were not even aware of AASL at all. Others were aware,
just unable to pay memberships because they are members of
organizations based on the grade level/curriculum they currently
teach. They have not subscribed to anything for "media" because they
are currently teachers. They were interested in resources that they
could use in their library media courses/internships.
