Step-by-step recommendations for analyzing current membership

Some initial ideas...

-Start at the state level
-Identify local affiliate (state org) members—review/request
membership lists
-Work with local affiliates in analyzing their own membership—identify
schools that don’t have representation (certified or not) w/local
affiliate
-Actively reach out to those schools through local/regional chapters
(e.g., “Sea to Summit” group in WA State)
-Analyze state by state the members of state organizations—actively
reach out to those that are not members of the AASL
-It really shouldn’t be that hard assuming cooperation between AASL
and state affiliates and up-to-date databases. Certainly state
affiliates could also poll current members—perhaps some state
affiliates already keep such records?
