Community Way Market
Day
Location: Lower Native Sons, downtown Courtenay
World Community will have a table at the
Community Way Market Day on Dec. 11. Please drop by to get
some last minute stocking stuffers like fair trade organic
chocolate bars or coffee and tea. This market will feature
Community Way currency and is a great opportunity to learn
more about how this system works. You will be able to use
your regular money or buy $CW at the event.�
The event will feature local businesses as well
as local crafters and artists who will be accepting 50% or
more Community Way dollars for their items. Every dollar
spent in Community Way Dollars supports a local Non
Profit. Come spend what you have or you may buy the cw$ at
the market and then do your holiday shopping with it. Do
all of your holiday shopping and support community at the
same time.
There will be live music for the event as well
as some deeeelicious food as well as Coffee and treats
provided by Yummies and Gyros. There will also be door
prizes throughout the day.

this event and selling fair trade coffee, chocolate, tea
and more!
The Conservation Centre will have holly bundles, art cards, Comox Valley calendars, posters and prints for sale! Stroll between six venues in the village where
you�ll find artistic gifts for every budget, along with
old-world hospitality, yummy refreshments and the
innovative flair of each artist�s version of Christmas
decorating. Meeting and chatting with the artists over a
warm drink or tasty treat will give your gifts more
meaning and your season less stress. Whether you�re
shopping or just enjoying the creativity, you�ll find
stained glassworks, metal sculptures, paintings, jewelry,
assemblages, rust-and-crystal window art, photos and more
from the hands and hearts of eight artists.�
Look for the markers, numbers and lights outside
each studio.
