The Big Time Out

Another volunteer opportunity for you!
Project Watershed will be going to the Big Time Out August 14th/15th, to
exchange community way dollars and we could use a few volunteers to help
with this. We are asking for two to three hours of your time (between 12
noon and 9pm) to be spent at the event mingling with the crowd
encouraging them to buy community way dollars from Project Watershed.
Community way dollars are dollars that can only be spent in the Comox
Valley and as such they support local businesses and non profits. Local
businesses have donated some of this money to Project Watershed and now
we need to either spend it or change it for Canadian. So we will be
changing community way dollars at the Big Time Out on par for Canadian.
Some of the vendors at The Big Time Out will be accepting the money as
payment for their goods and services so the people who buy community way
will be able to spend it on site. To find out more check out
