My wife had a function last night and I was obligated to go. I did
not post about it in advance because I intended to be home in time for
the game, but my wife's function lasted a full hour and a half past 9,
the time I expected to leave. I should have been home in time to log
on by 9:15, but didn't get here until well past time to get to the
game. My apologies again, and I could not help the situation. I feel
bummed about it as I feel it is a responsibility.

On another note, life might be hectic for me for a few weeks, but I
intend to be at future games. My boss died this morning and we don't
know what will happen with his position. He is governor appointed and
his successor may be his chief assistant, in which case all should be
fine, or it could be a stranger who fires us all and replaces us with
his own people. I will be applying for the position if it is open to
applicants in general, but it will not replace my boss who was a very
good man, funny and a friend. He leaves a wife, but no kids. He was
a year younger than myself.
