Dear Teachers
In our STF Workshops, one question that has been discussed often is
that there is no functioning computer lab in the school, hence it is
difficult to implement the STF learnings in the school / for
students.
One of the suggestion is that the school should purchase a LAPTOP
and PROJECTOR with its funds and the teacher can demonstrate the
lesson (maybe a video, or a concept map or a Geogebra animation or a
Phet or Marble simulation etc etc.
We had requested RMSA Director to give direction through circular to
School HMs that the school can purchase a LAPTOP and PROJECTOR with
the RMSA School grant.
RMSA has issued such a circular to give direction to School HMs
that the school can purchase a LAPTOP and PROJECTOR with the RMSA
School grant.
The circular is available on KOER -
http://karnatakaeducation.org.in/KOER/en/index.php/Circulars
You can download and print the circular from this site (SEE ATTACHED
IMAGE).
Request teachers to discuss this with their HM and wherever the
school needs a laptop and/or projector, please discuss how you can
follow the due processes and purchase a laptop and / or projector,
so that your learnings from STF and your own efforts at ICT
integration for your subject teaching can be enabled
regards
Guru

“Education either functions as an instrument which is used to facilitate integration of the younger generation into the logic of the present system and bring about conformity or it becomes the practice of freedom, the means by which men and women deal critically and creatively with reality and discover how to participate in the transformation of their world.” - Paulo Freire
