Optum – Lead Data Engineer

Remote

Contract to hire

• Design data pipelines
• Error handling/tracking
• Data file exchange and production
• Integration work with UHG
• DataLakes
• Databricks
• Pyspark and python are more important than Databricks
• Building pipelines with Ascend.io as well and are willing to train candidates up on that technology
• Write it in IDE, check it in and promote it for review in system
• SQL is needed, for doing spark SQL scripts

Nice to have

• DevOps tools +
• Cloud exp. AWS is preferred
• Glue is a +
