Job Roles / Responsibilities:       

 We are looking for a C# developer responsible for building C# applications, including anything from back-end services to their client-end counterparts. Your primary responsibilities will be to design and develop these applications, and to coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and quality product is essential.

Responsibilities

·         Translate application storyboards and use cases into functional applications

·         Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable C# code

·         Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications

·         Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems

·         Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization

Skills

·         Proficient in C#, with a good knowledge of its ecosystems

·         Familiarity with the .NET framework

·         Strong understanding of object-oriented programming

·         Skill for writing reusable C# libraries

·         Familiar with various design and architectural patterns

·         Knowledge of concurrency patterns in C#

·         Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server {{if deemed necessary for the project needs}}

·         Knack for writing clean, readable C# code

·         Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application

·         Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes

·         Basic understanding of Common Language Runtime (CLR), its limitations, weaknesses, and workarounds

·         Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests

·         Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git, and SVN

·         Familiarity with continuous integration

·         Familiarity with Test Automation and Test Automation Tools

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics or Mathematics
• 2+ years of experience in C# and Python
• Prefer expertise with Linux and Windows based software development
• Prefer expertise in controls and algorithm development
• Prefer expertise in various programming languages (C, C++, System C, Python)
• Prefer experience in software build process and associated tools knowledge (Gerrit, Jenkins, Git, etc.)
• Expertise in the use of software debugging tools (Lauterbach, Green Hills Multi IDE, etc.)
• Software integration, compiler and linker file comprehension expertise
• Prefer experience/knowledge of AutoSAR, QNX OS and GM Cybersecurity standards
• Prefer experience/knowledge in automotive communications (e.g. CAN, LIN, and SPI)
• Excellent communication skills
• Demonstrated success in leading challenging projects with high levels of ambiguity to completion
• Expertise in software tools development Software tools development expertise
• Prefer experience in embedded control system design expertise
• Prefer experience in production vehicle program execution experience
• Prefer experience/familiarity with software development build process and associated tools
• Prefer experience/familiarity with scalable simulation deployment methodologies leveraging containers e.g. Docker, Singularity, etc.)
