Java Developer/OCR Service Specialist
Location: Atlanta GA or Richmond VA || Hybrid || W2 only (No C2C/1099)
Duration: 6+ months with potential extensions
Consultant LinkedIn profile must have been created before 2018
Need 8-10+ yrs of IT Exp. Profiles || Need Passport number, I94, Travel History documents during submission for GC
Qualifications:
- Experience: 8+ years of Java development experience; 3+ year(s) of experience with OCR (Optical Character Recognition) technologies.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Java (Java Spring, Hibernate), OCR tools (e.g., Tesseract, ABBYY, Google Vision), RESTful/SOAP services, and MySQL/MariaDB.
- Other Skills: Strong analytical skills, experience in data processing and image handling, familiarity with profiling and tuning Java applications.
Preferred:
- Knowledge of machine learning techniques in OCR.
- Experience with cloud-based OCR services, e.g., AWS Textract, Google Cloud Vision, or Azure OCR.
- Familiarity with document classification, natural language processing, or document workflow automation
