Job Title:     Network (Telecom) testing

Location:     Middletown, NJ (Onsite day 1)

Duration:    Long term contract

 

 

 

Job Description:

 

Primary Skills: L2/L3 Telecom Network testing, Cisco, Juniper

Secondary Skills: Spirent, Ixia tools

Experience: 5 - 8 yrs.

 

 

·         Execute test cases in dedicated simulations of the customer lab environment, consisting of core routers CRS-x 8, provider edge routers Cisco 7600, ASR 9006, ASR 9002, ASR 903 and

·         Switches and collect data output

·         Create network configurations for routers, and switches to test software/hardware versions and review test reports with engineering team.

·         Design and architect LAN/WAN using routing Protocols like OSPF//BGP & MPLS.

·         Create Engineering and Troubleshooting Guides for Tier 3/ Tier 2 operation engineers

·         Provide Tier 4 Production Support including development/execution of scripts to automate the regression and performance testing.

 

·         Validate existing network infrastructure and recommend/suggest possible network designs upgrade.

·         Develop, review and execute detailed test cases using tools like Spirent Test Center and Ixia Breaking Pointe tools.

·         Follow customers' standard security procedures for data handling and storage.

·         Configure advance routing parameters, traffics, engineering and quality of service on high end routers like CISCO CRS (IOXR) version 4.2,5.3.3,6.2.1 and Juniper M series routers

·         M320, MX480 and MX960.

·         Configure VLAN, EVPN routing protocol in Test Lab environment
