Title: Engineer Manager with Content Management System (CMS) Exp.
Duration: Long-term Contract
Location: 100% Remote || W2 or 1099 only (no C2C)
About the Position:
- Content management system
- Talk about different things in the CMS space
- Come up with estimates and guide the team
- Open to someone who has developed CMS or managed CMS
- Needs to know the basics and architecture of it
- Managing external websites
- Do the daily scrums
- Current stacks:
- Java
- CMS - content management systems: open to different tools/frameworks
- Performance and optimization
- Integrations internally that transfer data in and out of the CMS - need to be aware of the data
- PHP being used - every now and then
- Understand scripting
- Managing the Client websites
- They are constantly updated
- They have a crew that sits on the business side and sometimes ask for technical assistance building new formats and patterns etc.
- Mix of existing maintenance and new
- Every few years a refresh cycle - likely 1-1/5 yrs from now
- Could be a complete refresh
- External content very visible
Must Have Skills/ Requirements:
- CMS experience (content management systems)
- Well rounded front and back end systems for software engineering
- Understand how databases work - SQL vs NoSQL
Nice to Have Skills/ Requirements:
- AWS: or any other cloud technology
Interview process:
- Initial 30 mins: Manager
- 2nd: panel interview - architecture, QA, management - 2 hours
