Primary
Job Responsibilities:
- Designing, coding, testing, debugging, documenting and
supporting all types of applications consistent with established
specifications and business requirements to deliver business value
- Participating
and implementing in large, complex projects to achieve key business
objectives
- Developing
innovative solutions to meet the needs of the business
- Providing
alternate design solutions along with project estimates
- Designing
and implementing application enhancements in collaboration with different
teams
- Troubleshoot
production support issues post release deployment and come up with
solutions. Ability to solve complex production issues
- Predicting
emerging customer needs and developing innovative solutions to meet them
- Solving
unique and complex problems with broad impact on the business
- Participating
in the development of business strategy and in meeting the assigned
priorities.
- Translating
highly complex concepts in ways that can be understood by a variety of

to understand performance considerations of ETL requirements - able to

to design applications taking into consideration data reconciliation (to
the source system); query/ETL performance
- Needs
to be able to work independently and not rely on State or other team
members to learn ETL/Informatica - need someone at Senior level
- Experienced
in ETL, Informatica, Multiload, Fastload, FastExport, Teradata V15.10
utilities, Microsoft Office, Unix KornShell Scripting, Microsoft SQL
server 2008 R2 or above, Ultra Edit tools
- Ability
to be flexible to adapt to changes, supporting continuous improvement, and
perform multiple responsibilities as required by the project team
- Communicate
effectively, verbally and in writing, with programmers, analysts,
immediate supervisor, management, system users, operations, other State
agencies and the private sector.
