Role : MongoDB Admin

Location : Addison, TX

Visa :  NO H1 Transfers

Job Roles / Responsibilities:       

 

Skills:

·         Execute & Manage a Data Science Data Warehouse (DS-DWH) which will involve writing ETL jobs in Python to read data from MongoDB and create a MongoDB + PostGreSQL DS-DWH

·         Design and development experience building a reusable REST API model/framework to consume data from and/or push data into MongoDB (or similar technology).

·         2-3 yrs of experience in SQL/NoSQL/Python Scripting and Working with MongoDB database to extract the desired results.

·         In depth knowledge of modeling/architectural patterns, governance methodologies, and potential limitations within MongoDB Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code.

·         Expertise in Python or Java

·         Familiarity of working with databases and using SQL

·         Familiarity with Spark, Impala, Kafka and other Hadoop technologies is a plus.

·         Optimize database systems for performance and reliability.

·         Perform database maintenance and troubleshooting activities.

·         Test database systems and perform bug fixes.

·         Provide database solutions based on technical documents and business requirements.

·         Ensure data integrity and quality in database systems.

·         Maintain standard policies for database development activities.

·         Identify and rectify database errors in a timely manner.

·         Create physical and logical database models as per the business requirements.

·         Manage and monitor performance, capacity and security of database systems.
