Job Description:

 

Positions: Sr. Azure Data Warehouse Developer

Location: 100% Remote

Duration: 12-18+ months

 

·        Strong experience in a data warehousing and/or data development environment

·        Experience in a DW/BI, data integration and/or data development team

·        Expert ETL experience, preferably using SSIS

·        Strong data modeling experience

·        Assist and lead movement from an on premise environment to Azure Cloud – end to end experience

·        Design and implement Microsoft Azure services, including APIs, Event Hub, and Cosmos DB

·        At least, 2+ years of developing services in Azure.

·        Hands-on experience in designing and developing high-volume REST APIs.

·        Azure API management

·        As a Cloud Engineer you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing services for the cloud platform, principally Azure

·        Relevant Microsoft Azure certifications e.g. Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Developer Associate, Azure Security Administrator Associate, Azure DevOps Expert, Azure Architect Expert are nice to have

·        Hands-on experience with Azure Synapse, Data Factory, Data Lake, Data Bricks

·        The creation and maintenance of technical patterns that deliver business value

·        Contribute and interact with Azure DevOps ecosystem, e.g. Wiki, Boards, Epics, Stories and Features

·        Strong Microsoft BI Development background in SSIS needed.

·        5+ years of ETL experience

·        3+ years of data modeling experience

·        Experience in SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS)

·        Experience in SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)

·        Experience in SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) is a plus

·        Experience in Power BI is a plus

·        Experience with data quality principals and tools is a plus

·        Experience with master data management is a plus
