Location : Nj or TX( Hybrid)

Job Roles / Responsibilities:       

Client Expectation

• Strong Python coding
• good understanding of data and statistics
• experience with ML models (specially trees) - important is understanding of concepts behind it as well as implementation

 

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Leverage data and rigorous analytical methods to drive strategic decision-making
• Work with business stakeholders to frame the business problem and develop robust problem solving strategies
• Strong Python coding
• good understanding of data and statistics
• experience with ML models (specially trees) - important is understanding of concepts behind it as well as implementation

• Aggregate data from a variety of sources, identify new sources, and automate collection and processing
• Design and execute experiments for optimization and to expedite learning
• Develop and deploy predictive analytical models
• Summarize findings and proposed solutions, communicate and socialize findings with multiple stakeholders
• Mentor a team of data scientists on data exploration, machine learning and problem solving
• Work with a sense of ownership and urgency, advocate for experimentation based, agile culture

 

Background (Education / Experience):

• Bachelor's (Masters preferred) degree in Math’s, Stats, or Comp. Sc. Etc.
• Strong knowledge of statistical techniques and expertise in use of statistical packages
• 4+ years of relevant experience in data science, machine learning or applied statistics.
• Working experience with relational databases (SQL) and large scale distributed systems, expertise in Python and R
• Experience with experiment design and A/B and multivariate tests
• Strong creative thinking and problem solving skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills
• Knowledge of one or more business / functional areas
