Role: .NET Developer
Location: Cleveland OH (Onsite from Day One)
Onsite M-F 8am-5pm
This long-term position is a part of the Client ongoing support team that is responsible for assisting in the day-to-day support of an ERP Solution (AXIOM), which is integrated with .NET applications and a SQL Server data warehouse covering shop floor scheduling, production reporting, planning, quality, and logistics.
Specific Responsibilities: Front-line support and maintenance, functional and technical design, engineering development, unit & integration testing, implementation and technical documentation of enhancements and patches to .NET / SQL Server applications that are integrated with a Progress-based ERP application package. Applications include intranet web applications, desktop applications, console and service applications, and reports.
Experience: 5 years experience, preferably in a metals or other manufacturing environment.
.NET/SQL Server-based components:
C# or VB.NET in .NET Framework
ASP.NET MVC, web APIs, HTML, JavaScript, CSS
Microsoft SQL Server. Experience writing efficient SQL queries and stored procedures.
A Plus to have experience in the following:
Entire SDLC experience from requirements definition through post-implementation support
Following SOX controls
SSRS, SSIS, Power BI
.NET 5 or higher
Cloud environment
MS Office Applications
Progress version 9.0 or higher
Soft Skills: Successful candidate will be a self-starter with sound systems troubleshooting skills and the ability to follow-through on problem resolution.
Candidate must have the ability to multi-task in a demanding environment and maintain attention to detail. Candidate should enjoy learning new technologies and working on a variety of applications.
Consulting skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills are required. Resource will be in direct contact with the client and needs to be a team player with great organizational skills and an internal sense of responsibility and commitment.
