Role : Data Modeler ( 6+ )
Location : Cary NC
Visa : NO 93/94/95 DOB Consultants or H1 Transfers
Job Roles / Responsibilities:
Works
with the business to understand what the business is really asking for, how the
business thinks about their data across all LOB systems, how data is
represented within individual lines of business, and the business and technical
processes that affect data change and movement
- Produces a physical data model
- Works with the Data Developer, MetLife data modeling team, MetLife Data Hub
team, and other technical team members to ensure that the physical data model
is well understood, documented, follows MetLife standards, and meets the
business need.
Required Capabilities/Traits
- Very strong in physcial data modeling in the insurance space
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Experience performing data modeling and implementation in a Big Data
environment as well as in APIs. Graph data modeling experience in addition is
highly preferred
