Job Title:     Database Admin – SQL, Synapse

Location:     100% Remote

Duration:    Long term contract

 

Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities:

 Total Experience: 6-8 years 

 Proficient in Platform Administration task with Azure Synapse.

 Good hands and working experience with Databases and must have knowledge on database backup, IAM and planning, etc.

 Hands-on with end-to-end Synapse implementation and good understanding with ADLS Gen2 as well as blob storage account.

 Good hands-on and understanding with Synapse issues, cluster concept, access issue (IAM) and Synapse policies, etc. 

 Must have hands-on and understanding with Synapse interface as well as synapse Access Control Management. 

 Good hands-on and working experience with Azure SQL Server.

 Must have hands-on and knowledge of the database Administrator with SQL query concept.

 Good hands-on and understanding of the MS Azure Cloud services. 

 Good hands-on and understanding with Service Principal. 

 Good to have knowledge on the Private ends/ Service endpoint concept with the MS azure storage account as well as Synapse. 

 Good to have an understanding of the Linux command line.

Required Skillset:

 Total 6-8 years of experience with any cloud vendor.

 Good analytical and problem-solving skills with Platform tasks such as creation and testing of databricks implementation.

 Good communication skills to interact with team members, support our team members, and provide technical guidance and expertise to customers and management.

 Good interpersonal skills to interact with customers and team members.

 Should be ready to explore or work with Cloud technologies.

 Ability to work in a self-directed work environment.

 Ability to work in a team environment.
