Role : Technical System Admin
Location : Remote
Visa : NO H1 Transfers
Job Roles / Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include
• Install various software on Windows and Linux environments.
• Current understanding of best practices regarding system security measures .
• Professional experience and a high-level understanding of working with various operating systems and their implications
• Support deployment of in house developed and/or custom application
• Work with agile development team to resolve any architecture related issues.
• Assist in troubleshooting and correcting issue, adapting to new technologies, interfaces and working with vendor for various software installations.
• Install and plan new software releases and upgrades.
• Performs system backups/images and recovery.
• Proficiency and proven experience in the following technologies is desired:
• Jenkins
• Docker, Kubernetes, Rancher, Ansible
• Git, Subversion, Maven
• Monitors system configuration to ensure data integrity.
• knowledge of Continuous Integration and Delivery concepts and best practices
• Ability to lead and train junior team members to achieve project objectives
• Outstanding analytical skills
• Willingness to work in an Agile team but also be self-directed with high engagement
Skillsets required
• Strong experience with Windows server and Linux/Unix operating systems required.
• Good understanding of OS security policies.
• Experience working in an AWS environment, supporting applications deployments.
• Experience of Docker containers and application deployments.
• Must have Shell scripting knowledge.
