Duration : 4 Years Long Term Project
Rate : $50-52/HR on c2c Negotiable
Job Roles / Responsibilities:
Provide DevOps Support and Enhancements to enterprise IT systems. The DevOps Engineer is a dynamic member of the agile team who works with developers and the IT staff to oversee the code releases, combining an understanding of both engineering and coding. From creating and implementing systems software to analyzing data to improve existing ones, a DevOps Engineer increases productivity in the workplace. They understand the software development lifecycle and have a clear understanding of various automation tools for developing digital pipelines (CI/ CD pipelines).
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field with 8 years (or commensurate experience)
· 8+years experience in information technology; 5+ years working as part of an agile development team as a DevOps Engineer or similar software engineering role
· Proficient with administering and deploying development CI/CD tools such as Git, Jira, GitLab, or Jenkins
· Familiarity with container orchestration services, especially Kubernetes
· Experience working on both Linux and Windows based infrastructures
· Excellent understanding of Ruby, Python, Java
· Experience with infrastructure scripting solutions such as PowerShell or Python
· Configuration and managing databases such as MySQL, Mongo
· Excellent troubleshooting
· Working knowledge of various tools, open-source technologies, and cloud services, specifically Azure
· Awareness of critical concepts in DevOps and Agile principles
· Collaborative team spirit
