Sr. Cloud Engineer
Position Description
Seeking an innovative and passionate individual who can provide significant contributions in the design, coding, testing, support and debugging of new software or enhancements to existing software specifically focused on AWS Cloud solutions. The candidate should have hands on experience with technical implementations and solutions as well as the capability to design and deliver those solutions.
Job Responsibilities

- Develop and deploy serverless components hosted on AWS cloud technology
- Deliver end to end UI & API solutions including Planning, Design, Development, & Testing.
- Design, develop, and prototype cloud deployed services, APIs, and serverless “infrastructure as code” to enable business capabilities in alignment with the architecture direction and standards.
- Lead the development and deployment of new features
- Participate in an agile delivery process, and as part of that help size stories and own, research and recommend new solutions
- Aid in implementation of monitoring using various tools, collection of metrics to enhance visibility & implement alerting to enhance service reliability
- Provide cloud support across the enterprise including training and troubleshooting
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Preferable Certifications: AWS certified cloud developer or relevant certifications
- Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science or related relevant experience
- Expert knowledge of application and AWS (cloud) architecture and related technologies
- Experience developing microservices
- Comfortable building solutions as an individual and as a leader of others concurrently
- Excellent technical documentation capabilities (e.g., data models, process diagrams, high level designs)
- Strategic thinking abilities and an enterprise-wide perspective
- Strong DevOps process experience with tools such as Gitlab
- Extensive experience with HashiCorp Terraform
- Automation & Scripting (Python, Bash, etc)
