Required Technical Skills: |
|
• Ability to manage team workload and deliverables in an agile environment |
|
• Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical options, issues, risks, etc. to non- technical audience |
|
• Experience and required competencies include the following: |
|
• Working knowledge with the following languages/technologies HTML5, CCSS, JavaScript, 3rd-party libraries like jQuery, LESS, Node JS , Bootstrap, Java, Springbook, Spark, PHP, Python, MySQL, MongoDB, Azure, ADO, Oracle, SQL Server, Linux, and C++ |
|
• Experience developing with API (REST & SOAP) and microservices |
|
• Knowledgeable of UI/UX design and prototyping principles |
|
• Familiarity with handling Apache or Nginx servers |
|
• Microsoft Azure Cloud experience |
|
• Experience with test driven like Junit, Mockito, cucumber and Jmeter |
|
• CI/CD working experience with Git, bitbucket, etc |
|
• Experience modern operations technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and troubleshooting |
|
• Ability to write automated test scripts |
|
Representative Tasks: |
|
• Status of development progress |
|
• Conduct demos |
|
• Fully integrated, cloud based code |
|
• Working code per backlog requirements |
|
• Provide supporting documentation |
|
• Automated test scripts |
|
• Create sets of consumable APIs following standards and guidelines that meets customer needs. |
|
• Work with Product owner in technical stories refinement, estimation and tracking |
|
• Participate in Daily scrum and Sprint ceremonies and deliver value |
|
• Sprint commitment and demonstrate progress through the sprint |
|
• Ability to communicate with product teams |
|
• Write acceptance tests (i.e. in English) using BDD tool such as Cucumber. |
|
• Write java code for acceptance tests |
|
• Create Interactive data visualizations from structured databases |
|
• Convert the designs into the product. (Mock site/app design) |
|
• Change a Prototype into actual design using HTML, CSS & jQuery. |
|
• Add business logic using either PHP, vanilla JavaScript, Angular JS, React, etc. |
|
• Consume the data that is made available by the backend developers (content integration) |
|
• Design and implement builds |
|
• Test implemented designs |
|

• Unit and Functional Test Reports |
|
Onsite Dev Lead Responsibilities/Accountability: |
|
• Provide technical solution, design and lead the team, guide them for the project execution |
|
• Identify issues, risks, and work with Project Manager for a mitigation plan |
|
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects (and other stakeholders as necessary) |
|
• Participate in the scrum processes like backlog grooming, stories estimation, sprint planning, sprint retro, sprint demos |
|
• Monitor daily progress of the deliverables and Ensure a quality deliverable is delivered from the team |
|
• Manage the development team and deliverables for the sprint/project |
|
• Design and implement sprint features |
|
· Test the deliverables and prepare test reports |
|
· Develop coding standards and ensure development follows the coding practices in accordance with Boeing guidelines |
|
· Task assignments, Code reviews, pull requests, code merge, etc. |
|
· Manage source code, automation tests and builds (Continuous Integration) |
|
• Provide status reports to product owner and project manager (and other stakeholders as necessary) |
|
• Ensure to provide appropriate documentation for the technical solution provided • Any day-to-day activity for the sprint progress |
