System Umbrella Engineer

Greater Miami-Dade Area || 100% REMOTE

 

 

Required Experience/Skills: 3+years

         Experience with Cisco Umbrella

o DNS-layer security and interactive threat intelligence

o Secure web gateway

o Firewall

o Cloud access security broker (CASB)

     Demonstrated skills building, configuring, deploying, and maintaining network hardware and software.

         Cisco router and switches.

         Configuring DNS and DHCP.

         Communication protocols (mainly TCP/IP) and routing protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF).

         Extensive experience administering campus/organization LAN/WAN environment.

         Extensive network design, installation, and maintenance experience

         Working independently

         Access control models and network security

     Strong written and oral communication skills and demonstrated ability to present technical information in a user-friendly manner

         Solid understanding of network operation systems (Cisco)

         Solid background in network administration

         Network Engineering/Design (Experience with Cisco Products)

         Network Administration (Experience with Cisco Products)

         Network data capture and analysis with tools such as Wireshark, etc.

         The ability to effectively troubleshoot complex network issues

     The ability to produce accurate technical documentation to include network topology maps, implementation plans, migration plans, etc.

 

Education:

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other related scientific or technical discipline or equivalent experience in a related field.

 

Security Requirements:

Background checks may include a State Criminal History Record check, a search of the National

Sex Offender website, fingerprinting, Child Protective Services (depending on position), a local criminal history record check, a Division of Motor Vehicle transcript, a copy of your diploma or

transcript (if required), and two employment references.

 

Job Responsibilities:

         Configure Cisco Umbrella

o DNS-layer security and interactive threat intelligence

o Secure web gateway

o Firewall

o Cloud access security broker (CASB)

         Migrate GoSecure (Formerly owned by Edgewave)

         Migrate iPrism appliance to filter all web traffic to Cisco Umbrella

         Optimize Cisco Umbrella

         Create network diagrams

         Create network design document

 

Note: For submission, we need most recent I94 clear copy (For H1B's, EAD's) along with VISA and DL copies
