Project Manager with Platform Management

 Hybrid role (either in NY or Raleigh, NC)

 

Job Duties	Part of the Platform Management Group wherein the role shall involve the following: Work in close contact with the front office and its traders, risk and valuation units, and have exposure to investment banking products (whether vanilla / flow products or more complex structured / exotic products) Execute and deliver Derivative projects for the desk Organize calls and manage stakeholders’ expectations around tasks and delivery timelines Liaise with stakeholders, coordinating requirements and plan deliveries as well as cross-team collaboration with core teams and other business delivery teams to enhance front office risk platforms Interpreting business requirements, workflow analysis and creative problem solving in order to turn problems into solutions and increase efficiency Coordinate model and trade booking migration across various desks in the bank Ability to adapt quickly to an existing, complex environment and learn new concepts as needs arise Produce high quality documentations for project and enhancement initiatives.
Qualification	Masters in Finance or similar degrees
Skills required	Strong prior Project Management experience Extensive experience performing business analysis/support with an emphasis on front office risk and risk management systems Experience in working with or facing off to downstream consumers such as back office risk or product/financial control would be useful Prior working knowledge on Derivative Products and Risk Systems Strong Communication Skills IT knowledge especially VBA, Python
