Develops highly complex
software solutions using approved frameworks.
· Leads and/or participates in project planning, management, reporting, and supports multiple software solutions/projects.
· Researches, analyzes, and recommends software solutions, tools, and best practices to solve business problems and contribute to the strategic direction of the Division.
· Designing, coding, unit testing, implementing, and maintaining software solutions of high complexity.
· Works both independently and as part of a team to develop solutions that meet both business and compliance requirements.
· Prepares feasibility studies, and level of effort estimates.
· Employs source control and configuration management of code and related artifacts following division standards.
· Analyzes requirements and ensures system design meets all nonfunctional requirements and collaborates with applicable external teams.
Technical Skills:
· Application development using Python, C#, C# .NET Core, and Microsoft SQL Server.
· Relational database design in Microsoft SQL Server
· Version-control system Git, and experience developing applications using the .NET and/or Core Framework
· Docker, and containers for applications Competency
Requirements:
· Excellent oral and written communication
· Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills
· Detail oriented, punctual, and proactive in completing assigned tasks
Highly preferred:
- Familiarity with R or Python to generate models against datasets.
