Role: Full stack Java Developer with Bigdata

Location: Newark, DE

Contract

 

As part of “Finance as a Service” initiative, provide Reconciliation as a Service that processes high volume, complex comparisons. Onboard and automate reconciliations for Firmwide Finance Accounting and Reporting business partners to help close the firm’s finance statements timely and smoothly.

Skills

·         Big data/Cloud - Apache Spark, Hadoop (Cloudera/Hortonworks), AWS/Gaia

·         Micro service development – ReactJS, Spring/Moneta boot, Spring Data Flow, Kafka streams and Oracle

·         One or more OOP – Java, Scala, Python

·         Knowledge of Agile Framework – scrum

Responsibilities

·         Build/Enhance interfaces to CT Data Lake and other sources using API. Kafka Streams  and/or S3

·         Build highly performant, scalable Reconciliations engine with configurable rules

·         Keep monitoring and fault tolerance at the core with ELK (Elastic, Log, Kibana) stats

·         Build UI for reconciliation onboarding, configuration, break presentation, allocation and management

·         Support onboarding and maintaining Reconciliation flows partnering with the finance controllers

·         Opportunities to apply predictive analytics and machine learning for break analysis and resolution

Required Strengths and Capabilities

·         Minimum of 5-7 plus years of experience

·         Advanced knowledge of application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines and clean code

·         Hands on experience and working proficiency in developmental tool sets, CI/CD

·         Proficiency in one or more programming languages like Java, Scala, Python etc.

·         Experience in UI development using ReactJS, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript etc.

·         Experience in TDD, automated testing including unit, integration and acceptance testing

·         Experience of working on high data volume processing applications (batch and/or real-time)

 

Nice to have

·         Knowledge of Spring Data Flow, Data Streams and Batch processing technologies

·         Experience with distributed caches such as GemFire, ehCache, Hazelcast

·         Practical knowledge of User Experience (UX) or Design Thinking

·         Knowledge of Big Data or distributed computing technologies and infrastructure

·         Experience in Performance/load testing

Title: Full Stack Developer

Location: Portland, OR

Contract

 

Job duties:

• Onsite Development Lead to work with HCA team at onsite and co-ordinate with off-shore counterparts
• Work on assigned feature development stories and connect with technical and domain stakeholders within Client team for clarifications
• Coordinating work deliverables of CT offshore-onshore team and participate in meetings with different client stakeholders

 

Mandatory skills and number of years of experience:

• Must have in depth knowledge and strong experience on Java, Spring and design patterns
• Must have strong experience in Micro-services and REST webservices
• Must have experience on any form of JavaScript or JavaScript frameworks such as AngularJS OR ReactJS
• Must have good experience on working with IDE IntelliJ and GitLab.
• Good understanding of AWS services S3, ECS, Cloudwatch, DynamoDB

 

Desired (nice to have but not mandatory) skills:

• Good hands-on understanding of Clojure programming language is desired
• Knowledge on Code build and code pipeline to build CD/CI pipelines for services being developed
• Knowledge on GraphQL and developing GraphQL endpoints to aggregate REST API invocation
