I am looking profiles for below role

Big Data Engineer/Cloud Data Engineer

Initially remote, post-pandemic relocate to Reston, VA / Phoenix, AZ

Duration: 12+ months

Rate: DOE

implementation: Impetus

Desired Skills - Java/Scala/Python, Big Data Components/ Frameworks Hadoop, Hive, spark, HBase,/Cassandra, AWS

Hands-on expertise with application design and software development in Big Data across one or more platforms, languages, and tools (e.g., Java, J2EE, Big Data Components/ Frameworks Hadoop, HBase, MapReduce, HDFS, Pig, Scala, Hive, Python, Spring, etc.)

Proven experience with Spark on Bigdata platform working with large data sets

Transform and improve performance of long running queries on large datasets with more efficient processes/queries.

Exp with AWS( S3, EC2, Redshift, lambda, step function, EMR etc.)

Good experience in CI/CD processes leveraging Jenkins, XLR and Maven.

Good understanding of NoSQL databases.

Strong analytical , communication and programming skills
